The Bizstory ZenSpace II Om Symbol Brass Keychain embodies the ancient Sanskrit symbol of universal consciousness in a hand-crafted solid brass pendant that serves as both a meditative talisman and a premium everyday carry accessory. The Om symbol is reproduced in the traditional Devanagari typeface at 42 mm height, cast by the lost-wax investment casting process in C360 free-machining brass at 3.5 mm average body section thickness. Investment casting is chosen over die casting for this design because it captures the calligraphic curvature and thin-to-thick stroke transitions of the Devanagari script at a fidelity level impossible in standard die casting. The cast symbol is mounted on a 50 mm by 38 mm oval backplate of 1.5 mm brass sheet, edged with a rope-twist border motif pressed in a hand die to a depth of 0.8 mm. The front face of the symbol and border receive a 24-karat gold electroplate at 2.0 microns thickness, while the recessed background of the backplate is chemically darkened to a gunmetal patina using ferric nitrate solution applied by brush. A clear lacquer sealant at 10 microns preserves both the gold and the patina against oxidation. The keyring attachment is a 25 mm 316L stainless steel split ring. Net weight is 30 g.
