The Bizstory TechVibe III Retractable Cable Keychain solves the perennial problem of charging cable access by integrating a 0.9-meter retractable USB-C to USB-A cable into a compact 52 mm diameter disc housing. The housing is injection-molded from ABS-PC blend polymer with 20 percent glass fiber reinforcement, achieving a wall thickness of 2.5 mm that resists cracking under the repeated opening and closing forces of the spring-loaded retraction mechanism. The internal spool mechanism stores the cable in a flat spiral under a constant-force stainless steel spring rated for 10,000 retraction cycles before spring fatigue sets in, confirmed by accelerated life testing at 60 cycles per minute. Cable construction is 28 AWG power conductors plus two 32 AWG data conductors twisted around a Kevlar strain relief core, providing a cable pull strength of 35 N before conductor separation. The USB-C connector is rated to 10,000 insertion cycles with a tongue thickness of 0.7 mm conforming to USB-IF specification. Maximum current capacity is 3 A at 5 V for 15 W standard charging of smartphones and tablets. A 30 mm stainless steel split ring is molded into the top of the housing during the injection process.
